Daniel Penarete

Daniel Penarete is a Ph.D. Candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University. His research consists of developing microfluidic devices to study the role of the microbiota in colorectal cancer and has experience in the fields of oncology, gastroenterology and the design of microphysiological cell culture platforms. A driven individual who is not afraid of devoting all of his energy to working towards the Greater Good, he is part of the Jayaraman Research Group in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and Microbiology.
