What Our Customers Are Saying

"By using the quick-start templates in the DOTS Software, I could setup my sensors very quickly and easily. Overall, this made my experiments significantly faster."

-Christoph Kutzner (Badische Peptide & Proteine, Heidelberg)

Software: Perpetual vs Subscription

At our core, we prioritize our customers' needs, understanding that preferences vary. That's why we let you decide: Select the perpetual model for complete ownership without recurring costs, or opt for the subscription-based licenses for unmatched flexibility and lower upfront expenses. Your choice, your software journey.

Annual Subscription

Subscribe to the Software Application Licenses that fit your needs and flexibly opt in or out, according to your project plans

  • Yearly renewal period
  • Includes access to the latest version of DOTS Software
  • Includes the latest versions and improvements
  • Lower upfront cost
  • One license is applicable for one hardware device for an unlimited amount of end-users
Perpetual Subscription

If you're confident in your present and future requirements and seek a single investment without ongoing expenses, the perpetual model perfectly aligns with your preferences

  • No recurring costs
  • Indefinite use, unaffected by future budget considerations or alterations in vendor structures
  • Latest DOTS Software version needs to be purchased in addition to the licenses

How do I export my data and in which format?

The DOTS Software allows you to easily export your data in multiple formats, including excel and .dotsdata. A live export is also possible in .csv format. If you have added manual entries (for example, a 2-point calibration for OD600), these can be included in the final export at the end of your experiment if desired. When exporting to excel, you can also choose to reduce the number of data points as needed.

Do I need internet?

No. The DOTS Software is installed locally and works entirely offline. You can run experiments, view results, and download your data without needing internet access. A web browser is required to display the software interface.

Where is the data stored?

All data is stored locally on your computer’s hard drive. Remote access is only possible via e.g., remote access to the computer where the data is stored and DOTS is running. We chose a local storage solution over a cloud-based option to ensure maximum data security, based on customer feedback and concerns.

How do I activate my licences? Where do I find them?

“Incorporating SBI’s pH and DO flow cells into our system removed the need for manual sampling, saving us time, reducing the risk of contamination, and providing information on how the cells are growing even when we are not in the lab. With availability of this more detailed view of our culture, we can make informed improvements to our cell expansion process.”
